I Started My 2025 Christmas Movie Marathon… Here’s Your Cheat Sheet
Let’s outsource your festive watchlist panic, shall we?

Hey Maidens,
I have officially entered my “watch Christmas movies way and judge them like it’s my job” era.
The problem? Every year there are so many new releases between Hallmark, Netflix, Prime, and more that it starts to feel like trying to pick a book on Kindle Unlimited with 1% brain capacity left.
So this year, I made us a cheat sheet.
🎄 Your 2025 Christmas Movie Guide
If you want to know what’s coming out, when it airs, and where to watch it without scrolling seventeen different apps, I put everything in one place for you:
👉 Read the full 2025 Christmas Movies Guide here
I’ll be updating this post all season with a little “WATCHED” tag + my quick thoughts under each movie as I make my way through them, so you can check back anytime and decide what’s worth cozy blanket time and what’s a hard pass.
12 Christmas Romance Movies I Actually Rewatch
If you just want comfort watches that hit, I also pulled together my top 12 Christmas romance movies, the ones I reach for every year when I want instant festive serotonin.

ICYMI: This Week’s Novel Hour Live: While we’re already talking screens… Victoria from Bibliolifestyle and I went live this week to talk about Christmas content, creator culture, and the whole Elyse Myers controversy. It was… a ride.

Keeping Track of What I’m Watching
My Roman Empire is trying to remember what episode I’m on in five different shows. So I made Media Vault, a Notion dashboard where I log TV shows, movies, and podcasts and track my progress + ratings in one place.
Your turn…
What’s your non-negotiable Christmas movie every year? By the way, mine is actually a bit older than the list I shared. It’s Christmas with Holly, based on the Lisa Kleypas’ Christmas Eve at Friday Harbor.
Hit reply and tell me the one you rewatch no matter how chaotic the season gets, so I can add it to my list.
Happy watching & hot-cocoa-ing,
Francesca
Happy reading,

Hallmark's The Christmas Card and The Holiday are the two modern Christmas romances I tend to watch each year and mostly load up on old B&W classics.
I've watched Christmas with Holly several times already.
For a classic, I love Christmas in Connecticut, for modern, The Holiday. I watch a ton of Hallmark Channel movies, too.
