We are so excited and thankful that you are here, whether you just found us on the internet or you’ve been with us along the way while we’ve shared our book love with you over the past 12+ years.

Under the Covers Book Blog started out as 4 friends who met online (on GoodReads of all places) and decided to share their love of books with the world. Along the way, we’ve helped so many readers find the perfect book, discover new authors, try new genres that they never thought they would like and grown close to our community. We were obsessed with book tropes and mood reading before book tropes became the popular way to identify your next read. You can call us your mood reader matchmakers!

Whether you’re a romance, fantasy or mystery/thriller reader, we’ve created this community where we can share even more recommendations, a bit more behind the scenes of what we like and what’s going on in our lives and cultivate a community of readers so we come together to chat all things books.

This is the place where you can find a specific recommendation you’re looking for, get instant opinions if we’ve read a book and share with the group chat your latest favorites!

Some of the things you can expect from subscribing to our community:

• Constant stream of book recommendations. We’ll periodically expand on a list we feature on the blog with even more recommendations or give you guys a recommendation list that members have requested.

• Guest recommendations. We’ll bring in recommendations from friends and even community members every month to grow your TBR.

• Access to the book database! This is one of our featured community resources. You’ll have access to our book database which breaks down books added by release date and by genre and trope. So you will never miss a new release and find the perfect book for your mood.

• Exclusive community podcast episodes. Get instant access to our private podcast Reading Under the Covers: Extra Bite. In addition to our public podcast, Reading Under the Covers, every week we have an extra episode with all things bookish and more behind the scenes.
